The climbing community is easily one of the friendliest, most supportive communities out there. Don't take my word for it, grab a friend and head to the crags and you'll know what I mean.
Last Saturday - a 2hr session with @dennisonwrecks and @constellaseanadrift before the big wedding day. I had a whole narrative planned but we just couldn't find time with everyone's busy schedule. But any quick break from the daily routine is better than none.

Finding inspiration in an unlikely place
Evan and Calder, longtime frenemies, talk a lot of trash as they make their way up a challenging wall at the local climbing gym. When they invite Benjamin to climb, the newcomer teaches them a lesson about being supportive and valuing the challenges within themselves.

Denver Day of Rock unites the community through music and family friendly entertainment while also raising funds to help Amp the Cause continue to support non-profits in our community.

The Fall of Saigon and subsequent immigrant/refugee experience is a major historical milestone in the lives of Vietnamese Americans. Younger generation of Vietnamese Americans can learn about this important period that has profoundly shaped their family's existence here in the United States. Many younger generations often have many questions of how their family came to be in the United States -- the exhibits and presentations at this event will provide a starting point for their understanding the unique Vietnamese American heritage.
Black April is a date of remembrance for Vietnamese American communities, much like the Day of Remembrance for Japanese Americans or Holocaust Remembrance Day for Jewish Americans.
Young Pioneer Disaster Response (YPDR) showing their Stage 2 in providing aid relief to Bantayan Island victims hit by Typhoon Yolanda. This group has been busy since early December in projects such as: debris removal, helping to build sustainable housing solutions, food donations, distribution of materials and supplies, rebuilding schools, shelter, and providing overall aid. Check out this video to see what the team has been working on over the past month.
